In spite of the danger of sounding sexist, it can be said safely that women and power tools don't go together. It can also be said that men love their modern tools, whether they use it or not! This is one of those "men things" which women find difficult to understand. Even if a man insists that he just needs to have the latest tool for Christmas, he will not be able to find a single use for it in the near future. Well, men and tools- difficult to explain!
Tools can be classified as portable and stationary. A lot of men prefer the portable variety considering the obvious: that they are portable! The fact that they are not tied down and can go anywhere they want to may be another reason why men seem to prefer them, considering some of them bears that trait as well! Well, enough of the men and tools jokes. Let's get down to the facts. Latest tools are used in industry, manufacturing and home use. There are usually a lot of odd jobs to be done around the house and calling a professional requires service charges a lot of men find useless. Keeping a power tool kit ready in the house thus makes little sense.
